I treated myself to lunch today. There is a great sandwich/ coffee shop, Ted & Honey, in our neighborhood, which I love. I was really hungry mid-morning and had a string cheese, but got caught up with work. By the time I headed out to eat, I was starving.
Ted & Honey is an adorable and quiet little restaurant that uses local, organic ingredients.
With indoor and outdoor seating. It’s also right next to a cute little park!
I got a small lemonade.
Very refreshing. And I’m a sucker for the biodegradable cups!
I ordered the “Spring Turkey” sandwich: “Dwines farm sweet tea brined turkey breast, sliced pear, brie cheese, and cranberry pecan aioli.” I asked for one slice of cheddar instead of brie and a multi grain role. To my delight, it came out hot, with the cheese melted. Just how I like it!
It was really, really good. I ate everything but the croutons. The little spinach salad they served was nice and light. If I had one gripe, though, it was that the sandwich lacked a little “zing”. It would have been perfect with some mustard! Still really tasty, though. The pear added a nice crunch. Yum!
A very satisfying lunch :).
