Yesterday, when buying groceries for dinner, I spotted these:
Whole wheat, sweetened with fruit juice. I was excited to try them this morning when I got back from the gym. (Workout: 25 minutes on elliptical, 10 minutes on bike, 5 minutes stretch).
I brewed a cup of tea (then added a splash of almond milk + brown sugar).
Then toasted two waffles til they were nice and crisp and smeared them with apricot/ rasberry jam (I used a little of both!) and peanut butter. I sliced half of a banana to go in the middle of the sandwich.
It was such a nice way to start the day- and to refuel!
