Hi guys,
You are catching me on a break from frustration with Microsoft word… can’t figure out how to get rid of this track changes thing on my saved document… aaaah. I hate technology sometimes.
Anyway, clearly I’ve been working (or trying to work) on some law school stuff. That’s pretty much meant being home all day, which is sad because it was glorious and sunny out this morning. Now, not so much- looks like it might start pouring.
I’ve kind of had a bottomless pit day, maybe because I exercised so hard this morning (?) or maybe because of the time of the month… yeah, I said it. It happens. So, I’ve been spacing out my snacks/ eats.
I had a light Baby Bell cheese around 12:30.
These things are great! They are creamy and rich, but only have 50 calories!
For lunch, we needed to use up the last of the turkey dog’s from this week. We also had NO groceries so poor Loren let me have the last of the veggies in the fridge, while he just ate an extra bun.
I had some spinach and baby carrots, and topped the spinach with salsa and a little bit of balsamic. I stuffed the two turkey dogs (only 40 calories a piece) into the bun.
I love this relish- we are almost out!
I did some more work after lunch and then Loren and I headed to TJ’s to shop for the week. It will be a short one, as we are on our way to Portland this Thursday night for a wedding. Yay! At TJ’s, I got really hungry and snacked on one of these:
I love these bars. They are chewy, chocolaty, and crunchy- exactly what I wanted!
My parents are coming over soon and taking us out to dinner in Brooklyn. I’m getting very spoiled this weekend…Will be back with a recap!
Baby Bel is my favorite! It reminds me of my childhood, because we always had it around at Christmas when I was a kid. I loved it so much, I even got it in my stocking 🙂
MMM i’ve never had baby bell cheese. I always see the commercials and it makes me want to go get them. can you get them at any store? and also what was the brand of the turkey dogs that you had for lunch?

Lizzy,
The turkey dogs are Applegate Farms uncured turkey dogs. They are delicious- I highly recommend them!
In terms of the Baby Bell cheese, I can only speak for NY, but they are in the cheese section of almost every grocery store here, usually where you would see things like string cheese and mozzarella. They make a great snack because they are so rich and satisfying. Let me know if you find/ try them!
Yum…that relish looks tasty! I have those bottomless pit days too…yesterday was one for me!
Have fun tonight!
