I had nothing in my fridge this morning because we are leaving today, so I relied on mytrusty friend Amy once again. She did not disapoint.
I snacked on a light Baby Bell cheese this morning.
And then, around noon, I was hit with a big wave of hunger. So I busted this out:
I’ve had two of these Amy’s Indian meals in my freezer for a looong time and felt it was about time to give them a try… don’t they expire eventually?
Anyhow, it was good. Was it the best Indian food I’ve ever had? No- not even close. But for an easy and flavorful lunch, it hit the spot.
The spinach was nicely flavored and I like the tomato masala sauce that the paneer was in.
Of course, being the messy eater that I am, I prefer things all mashed up together, with lots of hot sauce! So I destroyed the neatness of the plate and it was so much better this way….
Amy’s meals are a bit pricey in the grocery store, BUT when you are compare them to going out for a sandwich or salad for lunch (or in this case Indian food), they are significantly cheaper. So give them a try!
Plus, they save you calories. You know how much you are eating with Amy’s. They also use mostly organic ingredients and the ingredient list is always short, which is a good thing. 🙂
OK, enough with the Amy’s shpeal. I need to get back to work, to get out of work, to get home, to grab my stuff, to get the airport, to get to Portland. I will document my eats along the way and will post a recap for you all tomorrow! Have a great night!
P.S. How crazy is technology? I saw today from my “Referer” that people came to my blog because O.N.E. Coconut had twittered about me blogging. And now I’m blogging about them twittering about my blogging! I’m an old lady at heart, not a techie, so this stuff amazes me!
