Sorry if my earlier post was a bit depressing… just wanted to give you all the heads up on whats going on.
For lunch today, I made a really yummy salad of tomato, cucumber, garbanzos and feta, dressed with balsamic an EVOO.
With a side of whole wheat crackers. It was yummy!
This is definitely my favorite mix of flavors. Can’t beat a simple Greek Salad! I also love using the crackers for dipping…
I had a glass of water with a splash of TJ’s green juice for a little boost.
For snack today, I had some Concord Grapes that we picked up at the Farmer’s Market.
And then I pushed myself to go to the gym. I did the bike for 30 minutes and cooled down on the elliptical for 5. I just stretched for a while on the mat afterwards. Even though I don’t feel that great walking around, the exercise did make me feel better. It’s just good to be moving and sweating! And I don’t feel weird at all when I’m on the machines, especially sitting on the bike, so that’s good!
I munched on some baby carrots + pesto humus + balsamic vinaigrette when I got home.
I took a relaxing bath and then sat down to dinner. Loren and I didn’t feel like cooing so we just ordered Thai from our favorite place, Joya. I had a chicken and veggie curry with a little bit of Tofu Pad Thai.
It was awesome! Hit the spot. And I definitely went back for a few more pieces of tofu. 🙂
Its been a long day, so we are just relaxing on the couch and about to start watching Away We Go with Jon Kransinski and Maya Rudolph. It looks really cute!
And, to go with the movie, I have a nice cup of Mint and Chocolate Chip ice cream with lots of fresh raspberries on top to dig into.
Nice and melty- just how I like it!
