Today was a pretty normal eating day- nothing too exciting here. I woke up this morning and did a 50 minute Detox yoga from yogadownload.com. My neck has been killing me all weekend, so yoga helped to stretch it out, but also opened up some trigger points. It felt good, but I feel sore now!
I was rushing after yoga, and I was tempted to just pick something up for breakfast, but I took the healthy route. I decided to make something quick and easy instead and I am glad I did!
Cottage cheese, pumpkin granola, 1/2 a banana, and a little bit of apricot preserve.
Love this mixture- it is tasty and packed with fiber and protein so it keeps me full for hours.
Lunch today was a simple wrap with honey turkey, 1 slice of cheddar, arugula and mustard.
I ate this in my office and then decided to go outside for my break. It was too nice outside to sit inside at the computer! I sat in a really cute little park and enjoyed the birds and the bees!
I fiddled around with my camera and took some shots of the scenery- 2 different ways:
The rest of my lunch/ snacks were eaten throughout the afternoon. I did a lot of grazing.
Pop chips and humus.
A big juicy apple.
A mini twix.
And a bag of baby carrots.
When I got home, I was exhausted (I’m still getting over a cold and all stuffed up) so I just watched an hour of TV and made a quick and easy dinner, starring TJ’s and my freezer.
It was my first time trying these, and they were delicious! Pretty low in calories (260 per serving) so I bulked up the meal with some black beans (under the enchiladas) and some guac that I whiipped up.
Yum! These were dairy free but still had a wonderful, rich flavor from the Enchilada sauce. Highly recommended!
After dinner, I got the GREAT NEWS that my laptop is ready to be picked up tomorrow- and that my hard drive is 98% recovered. I am so happy! I can’t wait to have all of my documents, pictures, and my computer in front of me again. And I will back-up from now on… I got lucky this time!
My night plans include a bath and hitting the hay early. I hope I wake up tomorrow with clearer sinuses and less neck pain. Here is to hoping!
